Mike Cantlon is the proud owner of Cantlon’s Collectibles, which is located on five beautiful acres west of St. Charles, Illinois. This historic property has been used in numerous photo shoots for various antique and country living related magazines and even for two TV commercials. He began collecting antiques over 25 years ago and has never stopped scouring the world to find quality items. Some of his favorite things to collect are  farm-related primitives and tools,  early lighting, scales, advertising, folk art, toys and German miniatures. Extensive travel throughout Europe has added a definite Continental flavor to his antique shop inventory.

The Cantlon barn, 1845 log house and other buildings comprise the largest one-owner accumulation of antiques in the Fox Valley area.  The full to overflow 9,000 square feet promise something for everyone and a museum-like like setting for the curious non-collector.  The historic site dates to 1839 and has been maintained to show how life was on the farm more than 100 years ago.

Since the shop hours are irregular (there are auctions and antique shows to attend), it’s best to call ahead 630-219-8052 to find it open. This website contains over 1,000 photos of items on hand and pictures of the property. Most items are not priced on the website as he prefers to deal face to face and only ship in rare circumstances. Stop by and bring your antique inquiries.
